So I began got one post an I got so sick....I'm coughing so hard its ridiculous. Taking plenty of Vitamin C and resting when ever I can.
With that said I'll tell you a little about my Christmas. Normally Christmas Eve is our day to celebrate but things didn't turn out that way this year. So were supposed to celebrate hopefully if we get my nieces (and it is my sister's week starting Friday). For Christmas though it was simple just my mom and me. I have to admit to sleeping a lot, I needed it. But it was still a good day. I talked my mom out of going to the movie theaters out of protest for those who had to work on Christmas instead of spending it with their loved ones. So we watched television and sewed a little. It was nice actually, I admit and help me if she reads this but I don't spend enough time with her. I say help me cause she'd never let me live it down, lol.
Christmas on Saturday will be some what trying, we have to load up presents and drive up to Sacramento area. But I plan on preparing the night before...which is tomorrow. That way its a simple process. The easier the better. The less stress. Being ahead and prepared leads to less stress. Something that is defiantly needed around the holidays. So remember plan, plan, plan. An like Santa check that list twice. What list you ask...all them: the gift list, grocery, guest list, cleaning list...whatever else kind of list you have to prepare. This way you don't end up running to the store for the marshmallows for the yams, you don't for get little Timmy's gift, Uncle Johnny doesn't get forgotten and you remember to clean the toilets. Trust me, its the little things that are forgotten the easiest.
So remember you can only do what you can and we are human which means we are not perfect. This is of course for holidays to come and for those throwing New Years Eve parties.
An when it comes to holidays there is so much information of decorating and cooking that can help simplify your holidays but make them still look elegant and extravagant. You just have to plan ahead. That's always the key to anything planning and not procrastinating. Well enjoy your day...cheers until next time!
